The ZX Spectrum+ was first released in the UK in October 1984. Selling for £179.95 the system had a huge 48 kB of RAM the plus was really nothing more than the original ZX Spectrum in a modified case. The Spectrum+ tried to solve the biggest problem of all Sinclair computers so far, the awful keyboard.
