Colour Pictures Of The Holy Land From 120 Years Ago

These images archived at the Library Of Congress show scenes in 1890-1900 from Israel, Lebanon and Syria, which was at the time controlled by the Ottoman Empire. It was a largely pastoral land that looks like it had changed little since the Biblical era.
